PROPAGANDA: Wishful Thinking (ZTT)
Not new material but reworkings of (at least) five old songs into seven pieces and 41 minutes of “disturb-dances”. In practice all this means is a lot of unremarkable padding and the addition of a totally unsuitable, clattering synthesised rhythm track. So unimaginative, undynamic and unrelenting is this conveyor-belt monotony that it effectively robs the songs of the tension and drama that made them so alluring in the first place. It’s not even very danceable. (3 out of 10)
