JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER: How To Do That (Phonogram) Jean-Paul Gaultier is a “hip” French clothes designer whose “creations” have been bought by and paraded on the backs of numerous pop stars over the years. Everyone from Matt Goss to (cough) Clark Datchler has a Gaultier outfit tucked away somewhere in their wardrobe. So now Jean-Paul has decided to try to become a pop star himself with a Housey-sounding effort with unusual ‘40s jazz styled horns on it and him blabbering “Give me some technique“ and things over the top of it. Not quite as bad as you’d expect for a record made by a “tailor”. But don’t give up your day job, JP.
