It’s the question a nation has demanded we answer! No, not ‘Who exactly supports Luton FC?’ Not even ‘What is Cherie Lunghi’s phone number?’ But just who is this bloke Seal, who sings on the Adamski single, ‘Killer’? Well, don’t bother asking the guy’s record company — they’ve never even met him. He’s kept clear of all interviews to promote the record and refused to go down the pub with Adamski and drink himself stupid in celebration of their Number One — but wait. We’ve got the scam on the man.

Adamski met Seal at various raves the pair attended last year and they began to hang out with each other, dancing, walking Dis the dog and generally haying a laugh. Then one fateful day the pair were out driving in the depths of Essex when Adamski’s car got stuck in the middle of a stretch of mudflats and they were forced to search out a friendly local to tow them to safety with a tractor. While they were stranded, with just a bit of cockling and the sight of those picturesque oil refineries to keep them amused, Seal came up with some lyrics and they decided to get together in the studio to create ‘Killer’. The rest, as they say, is history.
