More properly the arse-end of noise, the best having long gone. In 83/84, prankster and pop journalist Paul Morley was playing word games with the music industry. Further amusement was had with the technical toys in the ZTT studios, with the opening Art Of Noise album as the result. Side one dates largely from this period and includes ‘Beatbox’, ‘Close To The Edit’ and the lush synthetic romance of ‘Moments In Love’.
