I’m committed to maintaining law, order and stability in our country
I have already given instructions for appropriate steps to be taken to restore and maintain law and order
Now the fuse is lit
…is lit
The fuse is lit
Well that wasn’t much of a noise
Nearly everybody tried to play too safe
…that South Africa consists of a white minority and a black majority
Never
…and a black majority
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
Your agony must endure forever
Your agony must endure forever
…we haven’t chained them to…
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
Never
We have such a vast task ahead of us and such great challenges to create a better future. We can ill afford the irresponsibilities and destructive actions of barbaric communist agitators and even murderers who perpetrate the most cruel deeds against fellow South Africans because they are on the payroll of their masters far from this lovely land of ours

Notes: This track samples a speech by PW Botha (South African President, Durban, 15 August 1985) “destructive actions of barbaric communist agitators”, a speech by Rev Ian Paisley (1985, Belfast City Hall) “Never never never” and a sample of Neil Kinnock (Labour Party Leader) “Your agony must endure forever”.
