Hollywood comes to Frankie
HOLLYWOOD came to Frankie yesterday in the shape of American comedienne Joan Rivers.
The sharp-tongued joker, known for her no-holds-barred humour, met the equally outrageous Frankie Goes to Hollywood star, Holly Johnson, in an interview which was recorded for the Bob Monkhouse Show.
Joan, who lives in a stately Hollywood mansion when she isn’t socking it to ‘em on TV and in nightclubs, obviously enjoyed frank talking with the man whose first record, Relax, was banned by the BBC.
And the pair, who both share a reputation for offending audiences at times, clearly discovered during the interview they had a lot in common.
Their meeting will be screened by the BBC on a Bob Monkhouse Special later this year.
